Saga International Hot Air Balloon Festival
Asia's largest hot air Balloon Carnival is held in early November every year, with 125 hot air balloons from all over the world taking off at the same time on the river Katsekawa. Night-time light shows and music performances add to the dreamy ambiance. If you miss the festival, head to Saga Balloon Museum for simulated driving and touch interaction.
Natural wonder
Rainbow Songyuan: A 5km stretch of black pine forest with sandy beaches and the sea constitute a beautiful picture, known as one of the three major pine fields in Japan.
Genkai Hamanobura Terrace: Spring irrigation like a mirror reflects the sky, autumn rice waves rolling, the four seasons scenery is different.
Ariake Sea: Japan's largest tidal beach, at low tide can walk to the Fish Shrine in the sea Torii, feel the interweaving of nature and faith.

Hiyono Izumi
One of the three major hot springs in Japan, the weak alkaline spring water can soften the keratin, which has been recorded in the Edo period literature. It is recommended to experience the open-air breeze of a traditional ryokan, paired with the famous local product "hippino tea".
Takeo Onsen
A 1,300-year-old hot spring town, the Chu coloured gate was built by Tatsuno Kanigo, the architect who designed Tokyo Station, and is a national cultural relic. Stay at the Onsen Inn such as Ojuku Takeshi Pavilion and enjoy private soup and courtyard views.

Yutoku Inaga Shrine
One of the three major Inami shrines in Japan, the vermilion architecture is set against the flowers of the four seasons, especially the Iwasaki Society, which is famous for praying for marriage and attracts 3 million visitors every year.
Yoshinoori Ruins
The largest settlement site of the Yayoi Period (3rd century BC) in Japan, with its restored high-bed architecture and ring city, is an important window into ancient Japanese society.
Ceramic culture
Arita: The birthplace of Japanese ceramics, known as "Jingdezhen, Japan". Visit Arita Ceramic Theme Park, experience kneading pottery and painting, and admire the Baroque style ceramic museum.
